REVIEW

Welcome to the Campfire spoke to me with such deep intimacy, leaving me with a light-hearted appreciation in the smallest everyday occasions, and most of all, a calming sensation of connection with all the unnoticed beauty in the world.

I especially admired the captivating descriptions of seeing the world around us with a different, more appreciating perspective—the stories unfolding but untold, the fading hours, days & seasons, and the solitary peacefulness & heartfelt companionships—and how so, we consequently may come to accept & rediscover beauty in its every possible form.

I also loved how this was a light & inspiring poetry collection of which readers of all ages & backgrounds can throughly enjoy. So relatable it was, that there were numerous occasions in which I came across sentences, paragraphs, whole chapters, that spoke so directly to me, that I read & reread them, again & again.

Welcome to the Campfire will leave you with a long lingering sensation of complete relaxation & a deep appreciation for all that exists around us. It is a purifying mental reset & gentle reminder all at once, to re-open not only our eyes, but our minds, hearts & souls, to the beauty that is everywhere, if we just know how to see it.
